Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into waste management violations and ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
• Collaborate with environmental agencies and local authorities to develop and implement waste reduction strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Lead community outreach programs to educate the public on proper waste disposal and recycling practices.
• Oversee the enforcement of penalties and corrective actions for non-compliance cases.

Person Specification

• Proven experience in environmental enforcement, waste management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience in public engagement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple cases efficiently.
• Relevant qualifications in environmental science, law enforcement, or a related discipline are desirable.
