Job Description We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Water Resources professional to join our Brisbane-based Water Resources team. By joining our team, you will work on the most transformative projects and have access to mentoring and guidance from our industry-leading specialists. You will also be provided with opportunities to collaborate across interstate and international offices as part of the broader Water Resources sector. How you’ll make a difference Be part of a high-performing team delivering hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, drainage design, and integrated water management solutions, with a strong focus on technical excellence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across a range of geographies to deliver integrated outcomes. Contribute to an exciting and diverse portfolio of projects across all market sectors, including energy, transport, water, environment, and government, across Queensland and beyond. Work on a wide range of engaging and challenging projects and, where appropriate, assist with supervision, leadership and mentoring responsibilities to support the development of junior staff. Qualifications The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. The qualities that help you thrive Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with RPEV / CPEng (or working towards) highly regarded. Demonstrated experience with water resource modelling and design tools such as TUFLOW, URBS, XP-RAFTS, DRAINS, RORB, 12d, MUSIC, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), GoldSim and Source, along with a strong working knowledge of industry standards and guidelines such as ARR 2019, QUDM, TMR manual and AustRoads. Strong client focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Highly motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and within teams, and contribute effectively to projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
