We are currently hiring a Senior Wealth Management Administrator to work alongside our portfolio managers to maintain very high quality service to our growing affluent client base.

Palisade Capital is recruiting for our growing team in Calgary, Alberta. A high level of attention to detail and the desire to develop professionally and personally in a dynamic work environment is expected. The successful candidate will support a team of portfolio managers by providing professional, efficient client service and sound administrative management of client accounts, in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures and regulatory standards in the Canadian investment industry. Experience with basic accounting and compliance procedures would be a significant benefit. Assisting in the finalization of month end net asset value calculations and the completion of compliance paperwork would be expected. They will process client information and be responsible for critical operational duties related to the portfolio managers’ and the team’s investment management activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Three to five year years of relevant experience;
· Particular proficiency in Microsoft Excel, but also including Word and PowerPoint;
· Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, with a willingness to be licensed further as responsibilities grow; and
· Familiarity with customer relationship management / portfolio management systems.

Responsibilities

· Support the portfolio managers and other administrative personnel in administrative, client service and business development activities;
· Assist in various month end processes including net asset value calculations and tracking cash inflows and outflows in the Palisade Funds;
· Assist in various unitholder recordkeeping tasks relating to the Palisade Funds;
· Where appropriate, assist in compiling data and filing relevant compliance paperwork with our primary regulators;
· Complete, check and forward documents related to account openings and transfers;
· Monitor daily activity in client accounts and handle various administrative details as required;
· Provide support for and collaborate with Palisade Capital’s other administrative personnel in responding to client requests to ensure the maintenance of a high level of client service;
· Carry out data entry in the client relationship management / portfolio management system, including producing various documents and reports for clients and portfolio managers;
· Maintain our product shelf database with current information; and
· Actively engage in ongoing learning and development to improve skills and knowledge.
All responsibilities must be executed with the objective of achieving the most positive experience possible for Palisade Capital’s clients. It is expected that the role will be executed in the office alongside the balance of the Palisade Capital team.
