Description About the Role Atera is building the next generation of AI-powered IT management solutions, trusted by thousands of IT professionals worldwide. We’re looking for a Senior Web Designer to take ownership of Atera’s website experience — someone who blends sharp UX thinking with bold creative direction. In this role, you’ll shape how our audiences experience Atera online, driving engagement, conversion, and a best-in-class web presence. What You’ll Do. Maintain Atera’s web design strategy, ensuring all experiences are user-friendly, visually compelling, and conversion-focused. Own web design as a discipline, exploring innovative solutions to enhance engagement, conversion, and brand value. Conduct and apply UX research to inform design decisions and improve user experience. Act as a subject matter expert for web design across the company, ensuring consistency of visual language, UI components, and UX principles. Manage the end-to-end design process — from ideation and UX/UI through prototyping, dev handoff, QA, and launch. Deliver pixel-perfect Figma files and maintain a scalable design system (components, auto-layout, variables, Figma Motion). Implement SEO best practices and ensure semantic, accessible structures for optimized performance. Use data-driven insights (A/B testing, heatmaps, analytics) to iterate, test, and optimize continuously. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Content, and Development teams to align design priorities with business objectives. Ensure all deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and high-quality standards. Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to translate complex needs into elegant, scalable solutions. Requirements About You Experienced: 7+ years of professional experience in responsive, mobile-first web design. Portfolio of Impact: Demonstrates UX thinking, design systems, and research-driven best practices, with pixel-perfect UI execution and measurable results in engagement or conversion. Design Excellence: You have outstanding visual craft — attention to detail, typography, and layout — and can translate ideas into beautifully executed, high-performing designs. Tech-Savvy: Expert in Figma; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is a plus. AI-Driven Mindset: Familiar with using AI tools to accelerate workflows, enhance creativity, and optimize processes. Strategic Thinker: Anticipates the ripple effects of design decisions on brand and business goals. Collaborative by Nature: Thrives in cross-functional settings, balancing independence with teamwork and open communication. Accountable & Agile: Owns projects end-to-end, prioritizes quality, and adapts quickly to changing needs. Continuous Learner: Passionate about growth, mentoring others, and pushing the boundaries of web design. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Web Design, or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or an equivalent field. UX/UI certification preferred. Understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar). Strong expertise in web performance, accessibility, and responsive principles. Why Atera?
