SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER – ADOBE AEM SPECIALIST:

On behalf of our utility client, Procom is searching for a Senior Web Developer – Adobe AEM Specialist for a 3-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton, Alberta office, but can be 100% remote too.

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER – ADOBE AEM SPECIALIST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project is focused on enhancing the current .com site, involving strategic development and configurations to existing applications. The role requires immediate engagement in leading the design and development of Adobe AEM components and templates.

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER – ADOBE AEM SPECIALIST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Completion of a 4-year Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent diploma
• 5+ years of experience in web development, with 3+ years in Adobe AEM
• Proven experience with AEM location detection and regional content delivery
• AEM Forms (adaptive forms using core form components, rule editor, data integrations)
• Content Fragment Models and Experience Fragments
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture, Sling models, and JCR
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER – ADOBE AEM SPECIALIST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with SharePoint Online and Power Platform (Power Automate)
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Azure DevOps experience

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of Adobe AEM components, templates, and content fragments
• Design and implement regional content delivery strategies within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Design and build dynamic, responsive forms using AEM Forms using core form components and related technologies
• Collaborate with content authors and UX designers to streamline content workflows and improve authoring experiences
• Integrate AEM with other platforms (e.g., M365, SharePoint) where needed
• Support governance, performance tuning, and security best practices for AEM environments
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and analysts
• Document architecture, workflows, and development standards
