Global Study UK is a leading Education Agency headquartered in London, with a strong presence across multiple countries including Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Bahrain, UAE, and the UK. We specialize in student recruitment from the Gulf & Middle East regions and organize exhibition fairs and tours to promote study destinations worldwide.
Overview:
As a Senior Web Developer at Global Study UK, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and ensuring seamless user experiences on our platforms. This role is to maintain and build new websites, ensuring websites are presented well and functioning properly, along with producing web content and key words and descriptions within advertising. Senior Web Developer will monitor websites, analytics, troubleshoot website issues, and update as necessary.
The role requires the individual to work closely with the executive team, contribute to technical discussions, and deliver high-quality work while adhering to best practices and meeting GSUK standards.
Responsibilities:
· You will collaborate with internal/external designers and back-end developers to create responsive, high-performance web pages.
· Stay informed and up to date with emerging technologies and develop fully costed proposals and plans that support Global Study UK to benefit from these technologies.
· Lead internal and external initiatives, work with colleges by providing precise requirements.
· Strong Knowledge of WordPress and Elementor
· Coding skills desirable
· Installing, configurating and supporting network equipment including routers, WAPs, Switches, Client PCs/Laptops, Mobiles, WAN, DNS and DHCP.
· Managing website development, overseeing, and liaising with team members, working closely with CRM management, segmenting databases, and setting up automated processes.
· Analyse GSUK advertising & events performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and proactively recommend data-driven optimisations to enhance effectiveness.
· Working closely with CEO on the upcoming projects involving designing, creating website and future developments project based on company needs.
· Monitor and analyse our website usage data, provide regular reports, and recommend changes/improvements based on those data.
· Ensuring that all work carried out is in line with GSUK policies and standards
· Ensuring adequate responsive design, user experience and coding standards are in place.
· Troubleshooting problems with performance or user experience, testing web applications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in web development with a focus on UI/UX design.
- Proficiency in Drupal, MySQL, Redux, Tomcat, SQLite, AJAX.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and responsive web design.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
