SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in weddings and/or events coordination (essential)
  • Rezlynx PMS experience (essential)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends (when needed)
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Wedding & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing weddings and events from the first enquiry through to the big day itself. You’ll work closely with couples, clients, and suppliers to ensure every detail is perfectly planned and executed. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role requiring strong organisational skills, creativity, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the main point of contact for wedding couples and event clients, providing exceptional service throughout the planning journey
  • Manage all stages of the event process, from enquiry handling and show rounds to event execution and post-event follow-up
  • Prepare and manage event schedules, contracts, and function sheets
  • Liaise with internal departments (kitchen, bar, housekeeping, reception) to ensure smooth delivery of all events
  • Host weddings and events on the day, ensuring every detail runs to plan
  • Conduct regular venue show rounds, converting enquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Support the sales team with up-selling packages, upgrades, and additional services
  • Maintain accurate records and bookings using Rezlynx PMS
  • Handle guest queries, feedback, and last-minute changes professionally
  • Assist in training and supporting junior events staff where required
