Position Overview:
We seek an organized, focused, results-driven Senior Wedding & Special Events Marketing Lead to grow our business through marketing, sales, and facilitation of events. You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing all marketing responsibilities while being infused as a member of the sales and facilitation teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with our digital marketing agency to ensure we meet/exceed our annual plan goals and key performance indicators.
- To develop our annual plan by December 31 .
- Work closely with the Owners to agree on the key goal and indicators.
- Develop the initiatives necessary to exceed the monthly and annual key indicator goals set by ownership.
- To establish the plan advertising budget, including Google advertising programs.
- Obtain the owner’s approval and publish the Plan Document by December 31.
- To plan, organize, delegate, and drive Plan implementation activities.
- To manage our website’s SEO program.
- Collaborate with team specialists to create content for the website, blogs, and paid ad vendors, including adding website pages.
- To manage Google-paid ads to achieve our lead goals.
- To manage our third-party paid ad vendors.
- By selecting successful vendor partnerships.
- Our vendors are the Knot, Wedding Wire, Zola, The Chicks, Rainbow, etc.
- By managing content.
- To manage social media activities, planning, scheduling, and posting; Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc., while using Loomly.
- All the above to ensure the number of leads and the lead quality, Lead/Traffic, and Tour/lead ratios exceed plan.
- Create and manage all Drumore Estate advertising collateral.
- Brochures and physical marketing materials.
- Collaborate with vendors to source photography and video content to showcase the venue’s unique character and offerings.
- Chairing a bi-weekly marketing and sales meeting.
- To ensure sales, leadership, and ownership.
- By providing real-time data of our actuals versus plan goals & key indicators.
- Continually collect and analyze venue and menu competitive information.
- Ensure Drumore Estate is an award-winning, premium wedding and event venue.
- Ensure our product offers are unique, competitive, and leading-edge.
- Ensure our pricing is competitive.
- Collect and analyze data from our website and our third-party websites.
- Manage our key indicators and dashboards.
- Engage with online communities, respond to inquiries, and track engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with the sales and planning teams as a Certified Sales and Planning Member.
- Create content from live events to be shared on digital platforms.
- Answer leads, complete tours, and book events to develop a deeper understanding of our sales process.
- Become a Certified Event Planner to learn the detailed steps of executing a successful event.
- Answer phones, help with client drop-offs/pick-ups, and vendor pickups as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required: Previous experience of 2+ years in venue marketing or related field.
- Preferred: Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Suggested: previous experience in sales, event planning, and event facilitation or other related fields.
- Extensive knowledge of sales skills, revenue management strategies, training, and motivation of the Sales Team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to effectively listen, communicate, and perform professionally with internal staff and external customers.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Working knowledge of CRM programs (Salesforce experience a plus).
- Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills, and budgetary analysis capabilities is required.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
