This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but fast paced Human Resources team within the Human Resources and Communications Branch.
The Senior WHS and Rehabilitation officer is responsible for researching, planning and developing policy, procedures and guidelines to implement new initiatives across a range of work health and wellbeing issues, with particular responsibility to monitor and maintain the compliance elements and the day-to-day activities to deliver work health safety initiatives and wellbeing programs. This role is also responsible in managing our case management both compensable and non-compensable.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong collaboration, problem solving and communication skills with a passion for innovative practices, business improvement, and a focus on outcomes. You will show initiative and good judgement and are willing to contribute to the strategic planning of work within the team. You will have well-developed organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a sound analytical ability. You will be a team player with strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to foster relationships to deliver high quality advice and support to stakeholders. In addition, you will be innovative, a problem-solver and committed to delivering exceptional service to the agency. You will enjoy collaborating and building lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and your ability to understand the needs of the business and provide solutions efficiently is crucial to your success.
