We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Wildlife Attendant to join our enthusiastic team, supporting the wellbeing of our unique collection of native Australian wildlife. What You’ll Be Doing: Provide exceptional daily care to our diverse captive animal collection Prepare food and feed a wide range of native species Clean and maintain enclosures and exhibits to the highest standards Conduct enrichment activities and monitor animal wellbeing Keep accurate records and contribute to report writing Participate in enclosure upkeep and general maintenance tasks What We’re Looking For: Minimum of two years paid work with hands on experience with a variety of native and or exotic animals in a Zoo / Wildlife environment Relevant animal husbandry qualifications and/or active progression towards a zoo keeping qualification (highly regarded) Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with diverse guests and staff, and meet documentation requirements High level of physical fitness to perform physically demanding duties A current manual driver’s licence Q Fever Vaccination **Availability to work a flexible 7-day roster, including weekends and school holidays is a must Diversity and Inclusion At Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint, we’re committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment where everyone, guests and Team Members alike, feel valued and respected.
