Description

We are looking for a part-time contract Senior WordPress Front-end Engineer to join our fully remote team. This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail who loves building interactive, engaging, and performant web experiences. You should have a passion for clean, maintainable code and a keen eye for animations and user experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience as a WordPress front-end developer.
  • Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, and CSS, including cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
  • Skilled in writing modern, performant JavaScript with the latest technologies.
  • Proficient with Git and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions).
  • Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards with the ability to implement and audit compliance.
  • Knowledge of web security best practices.
  • Experience with front-end build tools (Webpack, etc.).
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently.
  • Strong grasp of UX and UI best practices for web.
  • Experience with Figma and/or Adobe XD.
  • Proven experience with WordPress and Gutenberg, including building custom blocks.
  • Experience with component-based development.
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
  • Ability to estimate work, interpret specs, and translate requirements into clear, executable tasks.
