1. Perform the regulatory functions of an Authorised Officer/Inspector in accordance with legislation administered by
   NT WorkSafe.
2. Undertake inspections, test electrical installations using tools and technical testing equipment, investigate electrical and
   workplace incidents, compliance monitoring, auditing and complaint handling, and report on potential enforcement action.
3. Monitor electrical contractors to ensure ongoing compliance with the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act
   2011 and the Electricity Reform Act 2000 and participate in compliance programs.
4. Work in partnership and cooperation with stakeholders to promote and encourage best practice and compliance.
5. Represent the division at forums to deliver educational sessions to encourage continuous improvement of electrical safety.
