The Camera Hardware team is responsible for all research, design, development, test, and qualification of camera hardware for Apple products. As a key member of the Camera Semiconductor Technologies, you will be responsible for working with suppliers to help design and bring up new sensing devices to enhance performance and yields. You will work with operations engineering on yield issues, as well as work with suppliers on process development to enable next generation sensing technologies. DESCRIPTION As a Sensor Device & Process Engineer, you will own the semiconductor processes and the specs for the processes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BS degree or equivalent job-related experience in physics, electrical engineering, or a similar field. Experience in optoelectronic devices. Ability to perform analytical and problem-solving tasks based on device physics knowledge. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MS/PhD in physics, electrical engineering, or a similar field 10+ years of relevant industry experience in sensor manufacturing or process integration Ability to work closely with others in a very multi-functional team environment Understand semiconductor industrial standards Demonstrated success with sensors fabricated in modern foundries or captive fabs Experience with standard reliability test, failure model, and ability to identify potential weaknesses and predict a product's lifespan Familiar with various image sensor technology, metrics, and camera usage Ability to define simulations and work with simulation engineer in realizing realistic simulations of new ideas
