We are looking for a permanent Sensor Fab Operator to join our Sensor factory at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland.

Responsibilities

You will be part of our Sensor Factory assembly team (Sensor Fab) consisting of about 15 dedicated operators working in 2 different clean rooms. The role of the Sensor Operator that we are now looking for involves working with automated production equipment like die bonder, coating and testing machines. This production line is producing one product in high volume and one operator is running the automated line at time.

We have different work shifts possible, but the preference is on day shift. The number of hours worked per week is 40.

  • Follow production plan and instructions to meet daily quantity and quality targets.
  • Independently plan daily tasks based on the production plan.
  • Operate the equipment according to work instructions and according to high standards.
  • Be capable to solve some tool issues
  • Manage data in production systems, and perform quality checks.
  • Report non-conformities, equipment malfunctions, or issues.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering and Test Support teams.
  • Provide valuable feedback for product development.
