Job Description Job Summary: Reporting to a Research Manager, Senior Research Manager or an Associate Research Director, a Panel Leader is responsible for the execution of sensory testing. Responsibilities: 1. Panel Work a. Supervise and lead our sensory panels b. Recruit, train, manage and motivate sensory panellists c. Preparation of tests (organisation of sessions, & samples, preparation of test questionnaires) d. Conduct sessions (descriptive profiling, temporal assessment and discrimination testing) Assist with statistical analysis and data visualisation Support with writing reports for the client Follow-up and control of panelists’ performance Participation in the quality assurance process 2. People: a. Close collaboration with the field team b. Work closely with other members of our sensory and research team and the Data Solutions Hub 3. Strategy: Ensuring that ongoing activities and projects adhere to the company's strategic guidelines Qualifications University degree, ideally in food science, social sciences, psychology, statistics or economics Experience in project management and/or running a sensory panel would be desirable Excellent written and oral communication skills in German. English is a strong plus Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc Rigorous, responsive and proactive Strong organisational and planning skills, that ensure work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines
