Job Purpose:
We are seeking a proactive, data-driven Website & SEO Manager to own our website and organic search performance. This role is integral to driving growth through strategic SEO initiatives and ensuring our website is a high-converting, scalable engine for demand generation. Reporting to the Head of Demand Generation and collaborating across both internal and external teams including Marketing, Development, Product, Customer Success, and Sales, you will draw on technical SEO, user experience best practices, content strategy, and performance analytics to deliver on business objectives.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in SEO: Strong track record in organic search strategy and hands-on technical SEO. B2B experience preferred.
  • CMS proficiency: Comfortable making website changes in modern CMS platforms (e.g., HubSpot; experience with any CMS is acceptable).
  • Advanced analytics skills: Proficient in using GA4, GSC, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio for performance monitoring, reporting, and actionable insights.
  • Competitor & keyword analysis: Demonstrated ability to conduct robust market and competitor research and drive strategic SEO recommendations.
  • Project & resource management: Experience managing internal and external resources and project management tools (i.e. Monday.com).
  • Innovation mindset: Eagerness to experiment with and adopt new SEO tactics and website improvements, such as AI-driven content, advanced site speed optimization, schema automation, and LLM strategies.
  • Clear communicator: Ability to mentor team members and educate stakeholders on the business impact of SEO and website improvements, building consensus for major projects.

Responsibilities
  • Ownership of website & SEO performance: Act as the principal owner for all website and organic channel metrics. You will set, monitor, and optimize both SEO and website performance goals using GA4, GSC, SEMRush, HubSpot, Screaming Frog and other analytics tools. This includes not just reporting on KPIs but actively driving strategy and execution to achieve measurable growth.
  • SEO strategy and execution: Maintain and enhance organic performance across generic and campaign-specific keyword rankings. Apply deep knowledge of SEO best practices—site architecture, technical health, content discoverability, and algorithm trends—to maximize visibility and conversions.
  • Web content & experience oversight: Ensure all new and edited content aligns with brand guidelines, functions flawlessly on all devices, and supports conversion goals. Review and publish pages within the CMS, adding strategic links and calls-to-action. Safeguard existing content performance from negative impact by identifying and mitigating duplicate or competing content.
  • LLM and cutting-edge search optimization: Lead innovative efforts around optimizing for large language models and emerging search features (e.g. ai overviews, LLM referrals, featured snippets, voice search). Design and scale testing frameworks for new technologies within the digital ecosystem.
  • Performance experimentation: Design, execute, and systematize SEO and website experiments—including split-testing layouts, internal linking, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives. Establish clear hypotheses and metrics, apply learnings, and implement at scale.
  • Campaign & cross-functional support: Support integrated campaigns through keyword research, performance reviews, and actionable SEO recommendations. Collaborate with product marketing, content, paid, and development teams to deliver on campaign objectives.
  • External agency & resource management: Manage relationships and prioritization with development agencies and external partners. Ensure projects are briefed effectively and deliverables align with SEO and website goals.
  • Action-oriented reporting: Deliver regular reports outlining milestones and performance metrics versus goals. Use these insights to drive ongoing strategy and tactical improvements
