This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 500000 (ie INR 4-5 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking an analytical and creative SEO Executive with hands-on experience in driving organic growth through data-backed strategies. This role focuses on improving search visibility, rankings, and qualified traffic across digital properties by combining technical SEO expertise with strong content and performance analysis. The ideal candidate is numbers-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning measurable SEO outcomes end to end. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities aligned with business objectives, user intent, and competitive gaps. Perform regular competitor analysis to benchmark performance and uncover SEO strategies that can be adapted or improved. Plan and execute robust on-page SEO initiatives, including optimization of meta tags, headings, internal linking, content structure, and landing pages. Lead off-page SEO efforts such as link-building strategies, outreach initiatives, and authority development to strengthen domain credibility. Drive technical SEO initiatives in collaboration with developers, including crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile optimization, and Core Web Vitals improvements. Audit websites regularly to identify technical issues, content gaps, and performance bottlenecks, and provide clear, actionable recommendations. Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and advanced SEO platforms to track traffic, rankings, and conversions. Prepare detailed performance reports and dashboards, translating data into insights for stakeholders and recommending optimization actions. Collaborate closely with content, design, and marketing teams to align SEO strategy with content calendars, campaigns, and brand objectives. Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure strategies remain future-ready and compliant. Own measurable SEO KPIs such as organic traffic growth, keyword visibility, engagement metrics, and conversion performance. What Makes You a Great Fit You bring 3–4 years of hands-on experience managing SEO initiatives, either in-house or within an agency environment. You have a strong understanding of search engine behavior, ranking factors, and the technical foundations of SEO, including HTML and site architecture. You are highly proficient with SEO and analytics tools and comfortable working with large data sets to uncover insights. You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset. You are comfortable owning performance metrics and are motivated by achieving measurable growth and ROI. You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to turn SEO strategies into real-world results. You are proactive, curious, and continuously learning, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in search engine algorithms and digital trends.
