JOB OVERVIEW

Due to the genuine growth of the performance marketing team at BrightHR, an exciting new role is available for a passionate, analytical, and highly organised SEO Manager.
We’re looking for someone with a good knowledge of SEO as a channel, with particularly good experience in link acquisition strategies and execution.
While link acquisition growth will be a core focus of this role, the SEO manager will also be responsible for execution of the wider SEO plan in the UK with the support of two SEO Execs.
Self-motivated, confident and data driven are all attributes you’ll possess, along with an ability to motivate and develop junior members of the team.
From identifying technical opportunities to ensuring content throughput is achieved and value is maximised from all our activity, you’ll work strategically and in a hands on capacity to target commercial opportunities and support the GTM priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Working with the Global Head of SEO to plan the UK roadmap.
  • Research, develop and execute link acquisition approaches to support commercial and strategic objectives.
  • Deliver regular reporting and feedback loops to ensure insight drives actions, improvements in process and highlights the contribution to overall SEO channel performance.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to support campaigns, maximising SEO opportunities from campaign assets.
  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Content Manager, Marketing Co-ordinator and PR team, creating backlink opportunities from existing activity.
  • Optimise website content including landing pages and blog articles, considering the onward user journey from your activations.
  • Analyse competitors’ strategies and identify opportunities to stay ahead in organic search rankings.
  • Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics and Search Console, to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and search engine changes (including algorithm changes and new technologies like AIO & genAI search) to adapt SEO strategies accordingly.
  • Work with the Global Head of SEO and Associate Director of Performance to reach channel growth targets.
  • Support on wider team activity and objectives as required.
