JOB SUMMARY:

The SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance the online visibility of the company’s websites. This role requires expertise in on-page and off-page SEO, keyword research, technical SEO, and performance analysis to achieve measurable results and support overall digital marketing goals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) is an advantage.
  • Experience with website analytics, reporting, and data-driven SEO decision-making.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct detailed keyword research to guide content teams and optimize existing content.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, metadata, and other on-page elements for search engines.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes to enhance site crawlability, indexing, and performance.
  • Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, partnerships, and white-hat link-building strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with web developers and content creators to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
  • Prepare regular reports on SEO metrics, KPIs, and campaign progress, providing actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvements across all digital channels.
