All members are expected to be hands-on and to contribute directly to the company’s mission. About Role We’re hiring an SEO Specialist to own and execute BJAK’s SEO strategy across markets. This is a highly analytical, execution-focused role for someone who thrives on data, experimentation, and continuous optimization to drive meaningful organic growth. You’ll be responsible for improving search performance end-to-end — from technical foundations and content optimization to performance tracking and competitive analysis. What You’ll Do Plan, execute, and optimize SEO initiatives to drive organic traffic, rankings, and conversions. Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis to identify high-impact growth opportunities. Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headings, internal linking, and content structure. Collaborate with content teams to create and optimize SEO-driven content that ranks and converts. Monitor and analyze SEO KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, and conversions. Perform technical SEO audits (site structure, indexing, crawlability, page speed, Core Web Vitals). Identify and resolve SEO issues related to site health, indexing, or performance drops. Track algorithm updates and search trends, and adapt strategies accordingly. Build and maintain SEO dashboards and weekly/monthly performance reports with clear insights. Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark performance and uncover new opportunities. Support SEO best practices for new pages, product launches, and regional expansions. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar SEO-focused role. Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices. Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar. Experience optimizing content for search intent and user experience. Familiarity with technical SEO concepts including indexing, crawling, site architecture, and page speed. Experience working with CMS platforms and collaborating with developers or engineers. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Nice to Have Experience in a high-growth startup or digital-first company. Exposure to international or multi-market SEO. Knowledge of basic HTML, schema markup, or JavaScript SEO.
