OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and motivated SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine optimisation techniques and strategies, with a proven track record of improving website visibility and driving organic traffic. As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients online presence in search.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in SEO roles with demonstrated success in improving search engine rankings.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Tag Manager, and various analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress.
  • Understanding of HTML and JavaScript is advantageous for implementing technical SEO changes.
  • Experience in social media management is a plus, enabling effective promotion of optimised content across platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on findings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Some knowledge of PPC and funnel building would be advantageous (but is not critical).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimise website content accordingly.
  • Monitor and analyse website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Optimise on-page elements including metadata, headings, images, and internal linking structures to enhance user experience and search engine visibility.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure that all content is optimised for SEO best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement in strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on SEO performance metrics and recommend actionable insights for optimisation.
  • Fluent with Google Merchant Centre and managing Google Business Profiles
  • Knowledge of best practices for outreach and link building
