Job Overview:
Sierra Meadows Behavioral Health is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to enhance the online presence, improve search engine rankings, and drive traffic to our website along with our affiliated programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing, understands SEO best practices, and can create data-driven strategies to boost visibility for our behavioral health programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research to optimize content for relevant mental health topics.
  • Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, URLs, and images.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and address site issues, including site speed, indexing, and crawlability.
  • Create and optimize content, including blogs, landing pages, and service pages, to align with SEO best practices.
  • Build and manage a backlink strategy to increase domain authority.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
  • Stay up to date with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to ensure SEO-friendly website updates.
  • Optimize local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile, local citations, and NAP consistency.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO and digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
  • Understanding of content marketing and how it integrates with SEO.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, and basic web development principles.
  • Experience with local SEO and optimizing for location-based searches.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret SEO data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare or mental health industry.
  • Knowledge of paid search (PPC) and social media marketing as it relates to SEO.
  • Certification in SEO, Google Analytics, or related fields.
