This role focuses on implementing, validating, and maintaining on-page and technical SEO improvements that enhance site performance, visibility, and search rankings. You will coordinate closely with the SEO Analyst to troubleshoot issues, propose corrective actions, implement approved fixes, and ensure all SEO tasks are completed accurately and on time. Shopify experience is a must. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SEO Execution and Ownership • Own day-to-day SEO implementation for assigned accounts • Execute Analyst-approved SEO strategies and initiatives • Coordinate with the SEO Analyst on troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and proposed fixes • Ensure all assigned SEO tasks are completed on schedule and meet quality standards On-Page SEO Implementation • Apply Analyst-provided titles, meta descriptions, header tags, alt text, and schema • Update content and metadata to align with approved keywords and search intent • Maintain consistent formatting, internal linking, and technical standards across pages Shopify Implementation (Key Experience) Execute SEO improvements directly within the Shopify platform Update product and collection metadata Edit page content to support SEO optimization Maintain and improve internal linking across the site Manage product visibility for Google Merchant Center Ensure SEO best practices are implemented across templates and structured data Support large-scale catalog updates within Shopify Assist with product organization and collection structure Resolve feed-related issues impacting product listings Contribute to initiatives within the team’s 6-pillar SEO framework, particularly Technical Health, Content Strategy, and Special Projects Support special initiatives such as catalog expansion and platform updates Work with Shopify product data, collections, and bulk editing tools to implement changes efficiently Technical SEO Support • Identify and address crawl errors, indexation issues, duplicate content, and broken links • Support Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability improvements using approved tools • Proactively flag technical issues and coordinate fixes with the Analyst and developers Performance Tracking and Quality Assurance • Run and review audits using Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, and related tools • Validate that SEO implementations match Analyst instructions and function correctly • Document anomalies, unexpected outcomes, or risks and escalate for Analyst review Keyword and Content Execution • Implement approved keyword placements across blogs, product pages, and landing pages • Optimize content according to SEO best practices and Analyst guidance • Build and maintain internal linking structures as directed Reporting and Documentation • Compile SEO performance data for SEO Analysts and Client Services Managers • Maintain clear task documentation for completed work and open items • Provide before-and-after screenshots or notes to support QA and review Collaboration and Communication • Work closely with SEO Analysts to align on priorities, timelines, and fixes • Coordinate with content teams and developers to ensure smooth implementation • Provide timely updates on completed tasks, blockers, and escalation items • Share observations and improvement ideas to support the client’s SEO roadmap Learning and Development • Continue SEO training through guided practice and self-study • Participate in coaching sessions with SEO Analysts Qualifications We are looking for someone who wants to learn, grow, and build a long-term career with us and who values being part of a dedicated team and supportive management.
