Salary: $24,000 – $48,000 CAD/year (Salaried Position)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, daily 6:30 a.m. PST team meeting

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a hands-on SEO Team Lead / SEO Specialist who will take complete ownership of our SEO department. You will lead the team, hire and fire as needed, manage resources effectively, and be fully responsible for delivering measurable SEO results for our clients.
While SEO is your specialty, you’ll work closely with our web, ads, and CRM teams to ensure that SEO integrates seamlessly with the rest of our clients’ marketing efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and grow the SEO team, ensuring all KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Take full ownership of client SEO success — strategy, execution, and results tracking.
  • Manage hiring, performance reviews, and team development.
  • Build high-quality backlinks and execute link-building campaigns.
  • Coordinate press releases and off-page SEO initiatives.
  • Improve on-site content scores (content team provides the writing).
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and implement fixes, especially for WordPress.
  • Resolve indexation, crawl, and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments (ads, web dev, CRM) for unified client strategies.
  • Attend daily morning video meetings at 6:30 a.m. PST.
