Catalyx is seeking an Serialisation Engineer to join our team and work on our customer site in Co. Dublin.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As part of this commitment, we are continuously developing our on-site teams to support the advancement of customer operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Training technicians on what serialisation is and why it is needed.
  • Giving an overview of the Antares machines, and the devices on each different machine including cameras, printers, check weighers, sensors.
  • Training technicians on how to edit and make print and camera formats to suit what each customer specification
  • Showing technicians how to edit the PLC file on each work-order to ensure print, tamper, labels are all being applied in correct place.
  • Showing how to edit PLC files so all devices are triggered at correct time.
  • Setting up check weigher.
  • Fault finding when machines wont restart, print or are having any difficulties.
  • Training technicians how to set up the machines mechanically for each new carton.
  • Being involved in all validation of new machines and new cartons. This includes SAT, IQ, OQ and setting up machines for new cartons.
  • Working between three sites.
  • Training technicians on all they need to know on MTS, HTS, PTS, GTS.
  • Advising the customer on any serialisation queries the managers have.
