Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a Buyer - Continuations to join our team at EBSCO GOBI in Didcot, Oxfordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing of series titles for leading global academic institutions and other educational establishments. Working in a dynamic purchasing environment, you will collaborate with publishers, distributors, and internal teams to maintain accurate series records and fulfill customer orders.

What You’ll Do:

• Establish and maintain print standing orders with publishers and distributors.
• Purchase series titles upon publication, particularly where standing orders are not possible.
• Research, set up, and maintain series records in our database.
• Manage the end-to-end process of buying series titles, including receiving and profiling books.
• Liaise with colleagues across various teams to ensure smooth processing of orders and updates.
• Chase open purchase orders and update systems as required.
• Other related purchasing tasks as advised by line manager
