JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Server Administration Trainer to join our technical training team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Linux Server Administration, DevOps practices, and Database Administration, with a flair for teaching and mentoring aspiring IT professionals. This role involves designing and delivering high-quality, industry-relevant training sessions, labs, and assessments.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Server Administrator with strong Linux expertise.
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps tools and automation pipelines.
  • Practical knowledge in Database Administration (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring; prior training experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners of varying skill levels.
  • Certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, AWS SysOps, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar are desirable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of industry experience in server/DevOps/database administration.
  • Prior experience in technical training, coaching, or mentoring.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to scripting languages (Shell, Python, etc.) is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging classroom and/or online training on:
  • Linux Server Administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
  • DevOps tools & practices (CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
  • Database Administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Develop and update training materials, labs, presentations, and assignments.
  • Evaluate learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with current industry trends and tools.
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the curriculum development team to enhance course quality.
  • Assist in certification preparation and exam training (if applicable).
