Division: Steel Dynamics Overview:
Enhance and maintain server infrastructure

Responsibilities:

  • Primary support for
  • VMware Administration: Install, configure, and manage virtual machines and ESXi hosts. Monitor performance and resource allocation to ensure optimal operation.
  • Windows Server Management: Perform regular server maintenance, including patch management and updates. Troubleshoot server-related issues and ensure high availability of critical services.
  • Active Directory Administration: Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions. Implement and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security policies and streamline administrative tasks.
  • Office 365 Administration: Administer user accounts, mailboxes, and licenses within the Office 365 environment.
  • Backup & Recovery: Administer and monitor backup jobs to ensure data integrity and the ability to restore data in case of a disaster. Perform regular test restores to validate backup effectiveness.
  • System Security: Implement security best practices and policies to protect the server infrastructure from threats. Monitor system logs for security events and vulnerabilities.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all server configurations, processes, and procedure
