Job Description You are an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our food & beverage experience. As a Server at AMA Bar & Grill - Poolside your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding offerings will make guests feel unique and valued in a relaxed, outdoor and social atmosphere. Hourly: $16.00 What you will be doing: Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Minimum 2 years’ serving experience in high volume, upscale full service restaurant Previous fine dining experience and wine knowledge is an asset Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team Certifications and Licenses: TB Clearance required Maui County Liquor Card required Hawaii Food Safety Certification required Education High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training Degree in Hospitality or Tourism is an asset Additional Information All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).
