Description:

• Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
• Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items in order to make recommendations
• Answer questions about food, beverages, alcohol and other restaurant functions and services
• Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
• Follow all food safety standards and systems
• Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
• Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

• Must have completed the SMARTSERVE program
• Must have good command of the English language.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task

• Taking, confirming orders and relaying to the kitchen or bar staff

• Answering phone calls
• Prep or side work
• Placing to-go orders
• Preparing bill and processing payment
• Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, washing dishes, cleaning washrooms, taking out garbage.
• Reconciling daily cash transactions
