The Kitimat branch of the Royal Canadian Legion has an immediate opening for a lounge steward (casual/part-time) to work in our members’ and guests’ lounge. Working in a safe environment, you will be responsible to ensure a high level of member and guest service is maintained.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include: mixing and serving drinks and food/snack food; light duty cleaning (i.e. washing dishes, cleaning tables, etc.) and handling cash transactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Serving it Right certification
• WHMIS certification
• FoodSafe Level 1 certification (will provide to successful candidate)
• BC Lotto certification (can be obtained after being hired)
• Prior bartending or serving experience is an asset
• Well groomed and adhere to our dress code
• Friendly, approachable personality
• Willing to work a variety of shifts including afternoons, evenings, nights and weekend
