POSITION OVERVIEW

The Port Hope Golf & Country Club is seeking enthusiastic and professional Servers to join our front-of-house team. As a Server, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience.

• High stamina to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to upsell and positively impact restaurant revenue.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of serving experience.
• Must be 18+ years of age to serve alcohol.
• Valid Smart Serve Certificate required.

• Greet guests and take food & beverage orders with confidence.
• Provide knowledgeable menu recommendations and suggest pairings.
• Process bills and payments accurately.
• Enhance the dining experience with effective up-selling techniques.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Set and reset tables, assist with event preparations, and maintain a clean dining area.
• Support bartending or host roles as needed.
• Perform daily cleaning, opening, and closing duties.
