Description Server Assistants play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant. GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist waitstaff by promptly refilling water glasses, coffee/tea if ordered, replacing utensils and clearing plates between courses, obtaining condiments and proving assistance as needed Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met to enhance their overall dining experience Maintain a clean and well-stocked supply of utensils, napkins, condiments and other necessary items Assist with general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests Provide support to other team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods or special events Requirements 1 year experience in high volume restaurant preferred Ability to multi-task Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Must be a Team player Must be detail oriented PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent walking, standing – lifting (up to 25 pounds). Will walk for long periods of time, possibly extended distances. WORKING CONDITIONS: May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on outlet. Varied weather conditions are expected. Varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
