The primary purpose of the position is to maintain excellent customer service in its atmosphere and to ensure guest satisfaction and a future return. Server Assistants performing their jobs on a daily basis are required to be detailed in every aspect of their work while maintaining an efficient pace and assisting in keeping waste and spillage to a minimum. General Responsibilities Prepare, clean, and level tables, and make sure side stations are stocked. Assist servers in watering guests and providing menus, if asked to do so. Perform basic cleaning tasks and side-work as needed or directed by the supervisor. Fill in for absent staff as needed. Make sure the floor is clear of debris. Greet all guests at the door warmly with an appropriate greeting. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently. Assist in the entire team effort. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Basic Restaurant knowledge is a plus. Positive interpersonal skills are required. Must speak English fluently. ADA Information Physical Requirements: Ability to speak and hear. Close and distance vision. Frequent sitting with some standing at times. Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
Responsibilities
Maintain excellent customer service by preparing tables, stocking side stations, and assisting servers with guest needs. Ensure the dining area remains clean and debris-free while greeting guests warmly.
