POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Server Assistant/Cashier, you will be responsible for clearing, cleaning, and resetting designated areas in the restaurant, lounge, or patio, assisting with seating, and supporting food and beverage service. You will greet guests, assist with food orders, and ensure a positive and lasting impression. You’ll follow company and facility policies and procedures while promoting Parq Vancouver and acting as a positive representative of Blau & Associates. Striving for 100% guest satisfaction and delivering exceptional service is key to this role.
This role requires on call availability on weekends.

Responsibilities

THE SERVER ASSISTANT/CASHIER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Working in collaboration with other Team Members and Departments to ensure the restaurant, lounge and patio operates in accordance with established operational procedures
  • Proper set-up, maintenance and adherence to scheduled duties, ensuring mise-en-place and par stock is maintained for all service related items
  • Clearing, cleaning and resetting designated areas, preparing speciality items and assisting with service of food and beverage items and seating guests
  • Maintaining a composed and professional demeanor while providing exemplary guest service
  • Being aware of menu items, menu and operational changes and communicating the information as appropriate
  • Protecting the organization, guests and co-workers by adhering to applicable food, liquor safety and workplace standards, operational requirements and statutory compliance regulations
  • All duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager or their designated representative
