Description Server Assistant, Food Runner, & Hostess Positions Open Located eight miles from downtown Pittsburgh, in the heart of the South Hills, St. Clair Country Club is seeking friendly, professional, and service-oriented individuals to join our hospitality team. This role is essential to providing expectations of excellence to our members, their families and guests. The Club operates year-round, offering four a la carte Restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining. Hours: Off Season Wednesday - Sunday (October-March) In Season Tuesday - Sunday (April-October) Weekend and holiday availability are important. Hostess: Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival Manage reservations and seating arrangements Maintain accurate waitlists Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials Server Assistant and Food Runner: Support servers with food delivery and table maintenance Clear and reset tables efficiently Fill/Refill water, bread, and beverages as needed Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times Help ensure smooth communication between front and back of house Remains productive throughout shift with opening/closing side work assigned by Manager Benefits: Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling Positive and supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within the club Employee meals Golf privileges on certain days (with management approval) Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with strong attention to detail Ability to lift and carry up to 15-25 pounds regularly
