POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Server Assistants are the heartbeat of the dining room and a key part of delivering a top-tier guest experience. In this hybrid role, you’ll act as both host and busser, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and every table is ready for a great meal.
You’ll be the first and last impression our guests receive, so bring a warm smile, positive energy, and a team-first attitude to every shift.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a friendly, positive demeanor.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient with basic technology including POS systems, tablets, and reservation platforms.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

HOST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive.
  • Manage the waitlist and seating assignments while keeping table rotation balanced.
  • Distribute menus, answer initial questions, and set the tone for a positive dining experience.
  • Answer incoming calls and handle to-go orders, reservations, and general inquiries.
  • Manage and process online orders using tablets and partner apps.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and communicate needs to servers or managers.

BUSSER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support servers by pre-bussing, clearing and resetting tables quickly and thoroughly.
  • Ensure tables are properly sanitized, stocked, and guest-ready.
  • Restock and organize service stations with silverware, napkins, glasses, and condiments.
  • Assist dishwashing staff during busy periods by running dish tubs to the back of house.
  • Monitor dining room cleanliness and step in to help wherever needed.
