JOB SUMMARY

Au Mboa Lounge is an Afro-Caribbean lounge and event space. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced lounge environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable experience by delivering high-quality service, accurately taking orders, and effectively upselling menu items.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in the food service or service industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the restaurant environment.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Process payments using the cashier system, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience while maximizing sales opportunities.
