JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Server to join our dynamic team in a casual dining environment. REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or as a Head Server in a casual dining setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food production processes and bar operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the serving staff to ensure high-quality service is delivered consistently.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
  • Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Oversee inventory control, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Train new servers on menu items, service standards, and restaurant policies.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations.
