Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their food and drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, adhering to food safety and handling standards
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashing out guests at the end of shifts
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar or dining area as needed
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and answer guest questions confidently
• Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with serving procedures and customer interaction
• Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a hospitality environment, maintaining professionalism under pressure
