JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. As well as serving tables as a server.
Our servers often make and serve their own drinks so organizational skills are a huge asset!

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of bartending techniques.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining quality service.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to alcohol service and food handling.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Our main goal is to have the very best customer service.
  • Be able to work as a team as well as on your own. Day server is often alone.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Process customer orders efficiently using the POS system, including Micros POS, while ensuring accurate cash handling.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, making recommendations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Partake in the cleaning lists as well as keep things tidy.
