OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and beverage industry, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures and familiarity with POS systems
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
    This is a seasonal position. The restaurant closes in November but successful candidates are always rehired when we open again in April. Benefits are available

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Operate the POS system for processing orders and handling cash transactions efficiently.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas.
  • Adhere to all food handling guidelines to maintain safety standards within the establishment.
