Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server / Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently preparing and serving beverages. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, cash handling, and POS systems, along with excellent time management skills. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Givex POS
• Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when needed
• Ensure responsible serving in compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and food handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and utensils in accordance with health standards
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while providing attentive customer service
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing procedures
• Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests
• Follow all food safety protocols related to food service and food handling

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as GiveX POS or similar cashiering tools
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and making accurate change
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in hospitality environments is a plus, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork
