OVERVIEW

Té offers authentic Korean inspired snack foods and tea-based artisanal cocktails. We are looking for skilled front of house staff with out-going and positive personalities. Candidates need to be customer-focused with the ability to multi-task all functions. Our servers take care of their own tables, both bartending and serving. The trade off is that you take home 100% of your tips, all paid out in cash at the end of each shift. There is no tip-out to other sections. Located on the popular Ossington Strip, the atmosphere is vibrant and friendly. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday nights so availability must fit our current operating hours with Friday and Saturday shifts being required. Moving forward, hours will be extended to Sundays including lunch shifts being added throughout the week. So future availability for these times will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience serving tables and making drinks in a fast-paced environment are a must (drink mixing experience can include bartending, extensive barista work, bubble tea shops, etc.)
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
  • Time management skills to efficiently serve customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food handling and hospitality best practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but can be taught on the job.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Running food from the kitchen, bussing tables and carrying full glass/dish bins back to the kitchen for dishwashing.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
