Overview

We’re looking for a bartender who knows their way around a bar, can pour a solid drink, and make everyone feel at home. If you’ve got experience slinging beers and mixing cocktails, can keep your cool when it gets loud, and actually like talking to people, you’ll fit right in. This gig’s all about good vibes, great service, and making sure nobody leaves thirsty.

Duties (a.k.a. what you’ll actually be doing):

• Sling drinks—booze or not—however folks like ’em, no fuss, no attitude
• Run the till without blowing it, ring stuff in, make change, keep it moving
• Take orders quick, keep people happy, and don’t forget who asked for what
• Don’t poison anyone—follow the basic food safety stuff
• Keep your cash straight and your drawer from turning into a mystery
• Wipe things down, keep the bar from looking like a crime scene
• Refill bottles, restock whatever’s running low, and give a hand with counting stuff when needed
• Chat with the regulars, be cool to the newcomers, keep the vibe decent
• Follow the health rules so nobody shuts us down

Requirements (what we hope you bring to the chaos):

• You’ve worked a bar or restaurant before
• Know your way around a POS system, or be willing to learn fast
• Can juggle a busy night without losing your cool
• Decent with time—people don’t like waiting forever for a drink
• Can count money without using your fingers (too much)
• Know the basics of not contaminating food and drinks
• Handle a packed room without melting down
• Be friendly, or at least convincingly fake it
• 19+ so we don’t get in trouble from the liquor inspectors, yes they exist.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25 per hour
