JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as a solid understanding of food safety and handling practices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the business needs.
  • Experience in catering or banquet services is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Manage cash handling processes efficiently, including processing payments through POS systems.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, particularly during banquets or catered events.
  • Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service.
