Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer customer inquiries
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Process payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for the next guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and processing payments
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
