OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our Ward’s team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in the food and beverage industry.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Touch bistro POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.

  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Operate the POS system efficiently, processing transactions accurately while handling cash and credit card payments.
  • Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and maintain knowledge of responsible serving practices.
  • Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all customers receive prompt service.
