Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team at Winghouse Bobcaygeon. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and creating a memorable experience. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly and accurately
- Prepare and mix a variety of cocktails, beers, and other alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on guest preferences
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using the POS system
- Engage with guests, answer questions, and provide information about menu items or specials
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and their recipes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely service
