Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like cash handling and providing correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any customer concerns promptly.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures, to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in a bar or hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
